Now that Thanksgiving is behind us, I hope you will continue to consider helping with our adopted family for the holidays. Just 15 days till we load it up for delivery. So as you shop for your family and friends, please think of this family.

As we discussed in early 2008, we are adopting a family in Gahanna for the Christmas holiday through the GRIN [Gahanna Residents In Need] program.

Our adoptee family is a mom and her 2 sons, ages 8 and 12. Using the GRIN guidelines, I spoke with the mom by phone. For our holiday dinner gift, she selected the option of a grocery gift card she can use.
For her boys, she asked them to pick out a few toys they would like to have within the GRIN suggested guideline of $50 per child. They are listed below.

We want to collect everything by Dec.18th for delivery to the family on Dec. 20th.

You choose if you want to provide money toward the food card or one of the toys or if you want to buy one of the toys or an item of clothing.

Nancy Williams will receive our monetary and gift donations at her house and update us regularly on what has been contributed. Sharon Montgomery and Brenda Lindenmayer have agreed to deliver our gifts to the family on Dec. 20.
